Would you like to join Canticum?
Canticum members are required to have strong sight-reading skills and the ability to learn new and difficult pieces very quickly. We present three major concerts per year in our own concert series, in addition to sometimes taking part as guests in other performances. Admission to the choir is by audition only, and annual choir fees are applicable.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at St Mary's Anglican Church, Main Street, Kangaroo Point from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
Occasional weekend rehearsals may be scheduled and there will be extra rehearsals in the week prior to a performance. Notice of extra calls will be given in advance.
If you are able to read music, already have choral singing experience, can learn new music very quickly, and are motivated to be part of a dynamic, high-level performance group, we want to hear from you!
