The Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund has proudly provided funding of $12,300 for the purchase of choir risers, music stands and concert performance music folders.
The Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland has provided $5,000 for the commissioning of a new work for Canticum entitled Capricornia by Brisbane composer Gerard Brophy. The world premiere performance of this work occurred 16 July 2005 at 7:30PM at St Mary's Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point.
