PARKING AT ST MARY'S
St Mary’s is located at 455 Main St, Kangaroo Point. With the completion of the Kangaroo Point Park on the site of the old TAFE College, only limited parking is available within the grounds of St Mary’s. We suggest you try public transportation (near the Ferry terminal), car-pooling or street parking along River Terrace, Main St or on connecting streets, allowing you to enjoy a nice walk through the parklands.

Canticum is delighted to perform with acclaimed Australian guitarist Karin Schaupp in an evocative programme of works for guitar and choir, including the fiery Spanish masterpiece, Romancero Gitano by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco based on a text by Federico Garcia Lorca.

Choral Workshop

Tuesday 31 August 7:00 pm
Queensland Conservatorium of Music

Canticum will be the clinic choir for acclaimed English conductor Stephen Layton, who is touring Australia with his Trinity College Cambridge Choir for Musica Viva. He will share his expertise in a choral workshop co-presented by Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and the Australian National Choral Association (Queensland Branch), by kind courtesy of Musica Viva.

Cathedrals Week

Soul Journey

Canticum celebrates 15 years of presenting captivating and cutting-edge choral music. Taking as the title of this concert the name of their acclaimed, newly re-released CD, Canticum will perform sacred and secular works – pillars of the a capella virtuoso choral repertoire – in a programme sure to inspire. Early and modern works will be juxtaposed in this uplifting choral journey.

Handel's Messiah with QSO

Christmas Lessons and Carols

Enjoy the anticipation of Christmas through music led and performed by Canticum in a refreshingly creative version of a traditional Christmas Lessons and Carols service. A Canticum favourite at this time of year, enjoyed by many, as all voices raise in celebration of the festive season.
