Canticum Chamber Choir is a semi-professional chamber choir based in Brisbane. Formed in 1995 with Emily Cox as its founding Music Director, the ensemble's members are skilled amateur musicians, some of whom have had formal musical training and others of whom are students and professionals in other fields who simply enjoy choral singing. The choir performs works from the renaissance and baroque periods through to works of today.

Canticum is known for its inspiring performances, innovative programming and diverse repertoire. Apart from presenting its own concert series, Canticum collaborates regularly with professional arts companies, including The Queensland Orchestra, the Queensland Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Queensland Ballet. Other highlights have included performances in the Brisbane Festival, the Queensland Biennial Festival of Music and Cathedrals Week. Canticum's highly acclaimed Good Friday Musical Meditation concerts have ranged from performances of Bach's St John Passion to James Macmillan's Seven Last Words from the Cross.

A significant highlight of Canticum's recent past was its selection from an international field of choirs to be a featured guest performing choir at the 7th World Symposium on Choral Music held in Kyoto, Japan, in 2005. In August 2007 Canticum was invited as a guest performer on ABC Classic FM's programme Sunday Afternoon Live.
