This spellbinding and expressive work for choir and string orchestra conveys Christ’s final utterances, combined with other liturgical texts. MacMillan (b. 1959) is considered the pre-eminent Scottish composer of his generation. This will be complemented by selected movements from Lamentations of Jeremiah by Thomas Tallis. |

This is a unique collaboration featuring 5 top ensembles, and internationally renowned soloists. Join us, Canticum Chamber Choir, as we combine with Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Brisbane Chorale, Ensemble Q and Voices of Birralee to present this remarkable work.
